 1. I can see a child who looks dehydrated . The deeper meaning is that stop digging graves dig toilets. The advert communicates that its a fun raiser. the audience may feel guilt because kids are suffering.  Denotation and connotation denotation: as you can see its showing its a fund raiser for afghan Sikhs and is trying to help them out. You denotation that there's multiple people hugging, they look upset and seem like they haven't see each other for a long time. connotations: you can see from the image it looks like they are hugging [ renunciation] .
